KMZT Privacy Statement and Your California Privacy Rights

Protecting your personal privacy is very important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how KMZT will collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us. Specifics about what information is collected and how it is used follow this Privacy Statement.

Your personal privacy is a principal concern to us at KMZT. Our goal in outlining our statement on the collection and use of listener/customer data is to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security.

1. General.

This web site (the "Site") is operated by KMZT Radio, a business owned by Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters Inc.  ("KMZT").  By using the Site, you agree to be bound by all of the terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced herein. You should review the Statement from time to time. KMZT may change the Statement at any time by posting revisions to the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of the revised Statement. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth in the Statement, you must exit the Site immediately.

2. No Use by Children.

The Site is not directed to, or intended for use by, children (defined as anyone age twelve or younger). Children should not use the Site or submit any information to KMZT.

2. What Information is Collected.

There are two general types of information that can be collected as a result of your use of the Site: (1) Personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, telephone number and email address); and (2) aggregate information (such as your IP address - a number used to identify your computer when you are on the Internet - or the type of browser you are using).

4. Personally Identifiable Information.

Certain features available at the Site will require you to submit personally identifiable information about yourself ("Personal Information") as a condition of participation. (For example, you may be required to submit Personal Information in order to enter an online contest conducted by KMZT, or to listen to our streaming broadcast.)

In addition, KMZT may ask you to provide Personal Information for purposes unrelated to the use of a feature at the Site. In all cases, you can always refuse to provide Personal Information, but this may result in decreased functionality of the Site for you and limit your ability to enter contests, listen to our streaming broadcast, or receive information about products or services that may be of particular interest.

KMZT will not share or otherwise disclose Personal Information to third parties without your consent.* If, when using the KMZT site, you request more information about a third party product or service, we may comply with your request and share your contact information with a third party in order to provide you with the specific information requested. At no time are you required to opt-in for such third party communication.

* KMZT will disclose Personal Information to law enforcement agencies or courts if required by court order to make such disclosure.

5. Aggregate Information/Cookies.

KMZT will collect aggregate information through the use of "cookies" or by other electronic means. In general, a cookie is a small amount of data sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. With most browsers or other software, you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. You can refer to the instructions for your browser to learn more about these functions. If you choose to reject cookies, the Site will not operate as efficiently for you.

Ownership and Use of Information. Any information collected by KMZT in connection with your use of the Site - regardless of whether characterized as Personal Information or aggregate - shall belong exclusively to KMZT and will be used, maintained, and updated by KMZT at its sole discretion.

6. Email Newsletter Opt-out / Unsubscribe

When we request Personal Information, we also give users an opportunity to subscribe to our weekly email newsletter. We don't wish to send unwanted email, so every issue of our newsletter includes clear instructions telling you how to unsubscribe. We also include, in every newsletter, our email address, postal mailing address, and phone number, so that you can easily contact us if you wish to follow contact us directly. If you have subscribed, and then at some future time decide you don't want to receive further email from KMZT, simply follow the instructions in every email, or send us an email at the address below and we'll glady remove your Personal Information from our list.

7. Special Rights for California Residents, and Contact Information

Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, or if you have any questions about our privacy practices, please send an e-mail to dmaynard@kmzt.com  or write to us:
