EVENT INFORMATION

Third free concert of the 2013-14 season offers a varied and accessible program of music by Otto Nicolai, Richard Strauss, Giacomo Puccini and Antonín Dvorák, with soprano soloist Erin Wood and the orchestra under the baton of Barry Brisk.

Free program (parking $3) will include the Overture to The Merry Wives of Windsor by Nicolai, The Four Last Songs by Strauss, the aria “One Fine Day” from Madama Butterfly by Puccini, and the Symphony No. 8 in G Major, Op. 88 by Dvorák. Free pre-concert lecture at 7:30 by Maestro Brisk.
