A veteran of the original K-Mozart, P.J. is also an actor with a career spanning more than 25 years. He has appeared on Broadway, been in several critically acclaimed films, performed in Joseph Papp’s New York Shakespeare Festival, and been a four-time TV series regular. A published writer, P.J. also often appears as a narrator and emcee for numerous events. “I’m thrilled about the return of K-Mozart and look forward to many days of sharing with you the world’s most timeless music - and enjoying it together,” says P.J.

Five time Grammy nominated composer and pianist, David Benoit has had an expansive career as a contemporary jazz pianist that has included over 25 charting solo recordings. Benoit’s ever expanding slate of orchestral music endeavors include his ongoing role as conductor of the Asia America Symphony Orchestra and other leading orchestras around the world. He is excited to be a part of the k-Mozart team

John Santana got his start in radio as a teenager. In 1975, as a music major at Cal State, Fullerton, John was hired as a part-time classical announcer. After completing his Master’s degree in Composition and Music Theory in 1981, John became KFAC’s morning host. He was Program Director for the California Classical Network, which included KKGO, KKHI, and X-Bach. His training as a musician and composer have put John in demand as a pre-concert speaker for prestigious organizations across the country.

From a career spanning over 40 years in broadcasting and joining the staff of KKGO-FM 105.1 (Jazz) in 1983, Nick Tyler has had the opportunity to experience many facets of the world of radio. Now his return to KMozart re-kindles his fondness for timeless music fostered over a period of 16 years when he switched from Jazz to Classical radio in 1989. While his love of jazz remains firm, Nick says, “I’m very happy to be back on the air on KMozart playing some of the greatest music ever written.”
MARIE HULETT
Marie Hulett has been working with animals (wild and domestic) for over 30 years. Her resume includes a professional background in veterinary medicine, veterinary public health, inhumane investigations, humane education, wildlife management, and animal advocacy. Marie directed and edited the award-winning Pet Place TV Show and has been part of the Pet Place family since 1990. Marie is also an Emmy Award winning documentary producer, and since 1994, a popular Orange County Register newspaper columnist where she answers readers' questions about…you guessed it…animals! The Pet Place radio show covers all topics relating to animals, from fun to educational, silly to serious—and reminds everyone of the importance of responsible pet ownership as a means to end the needless deaths of millions of pets each year.

Mona Golabek is the creator and voice of The Romantic Hours radio program, which combines classical music with readings of poetry, letters, and stories and has been syndicated across the country.

The founder and president of the non-profit organization Hold On To Your Music, she is an author, recording artist, radio host and internationally acclaimed concert pianist. Ms. Golabek was taught by her mother, Lisa Jura, who, along with Lisa’s mother Malka, is the subject of Ms. Golabek’s book, The Children Of Willesden Lane. The work of Ms. Golabek and her sister, the late concert pianist Renee Golabek-Kaye, has been inspired by the words their grandmother uttered to her daughter at the Vienna train station as Lisa boarded the Kindertransport for safety in London at the outset of World War II. “Hold on to your music,” Malka told her, “It will be your best friend.”

A Grammy nominee, Ms. Golabek has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Avery Fisher Prize and the People's Award of the International Chopin Competition. She has been the subject of several PBS television documentaries, including More Than the Music, which won the grand prize in the 1985 Houston Film Festival, and Concerto for Mona, featuring Ms. Golabek and conductor Zubin Mehta. She has appeared in concert at the Hollywood Bowl, the Kennedy Center, Royal Festival Hall and with major orchestras and conductors worldwide.
